Emili Tebay, left, and Kaitlyn Peter, third-graders at Bonner Elementary School, dressed warmly to ward off the cold as they worked as school patrol crossing guards last Thursday, Jan. 19. The daytime high reached about 5 above zero that day. The two enjoy their work as crossing guards. "It's really fun," Kaitlyn said. "You get to be helpful and cross people." Emili agreed. "It's nice to be able to help the kindergartners cross safely," she said. |
