Gabrielle "Skye" Keller, born Oct. 27, 1996 in Des Moines, Iowa, raised in Stewartville, and living in Rochester, passed away on April 4, 2021 in Rochester at the age of 24.
Skye graduated with the class of 2015 from Rochester Charter Off-Campus (ROC) High School. She was most recently on the Rasmussen University Honor Roll where she was pursuing a degree in criminal justice.
Skye's tenderness and passion shined through her love of dogs and her family, humble nature, giving to others, and advocating for the underrepresented. Her infectious laugh has been swelling our hearts since the day she came into this world. She was a talented visual, literary and culinary artist. Outside of school, Skye spent her time volunteering at the Dorothy Day House, Season's Hospice, and Rochester Youth Services - LINK. She found joy in fishing, boating, concerts, riding motorcycle, four-wheeling, playing Guitar Hero and hiking with her dog, Ace.
Skye's immediate surviving family members include, her mother, Janel M. Sellers-Keller; siblings, brother, Justin A. Keller (Sarah), sister, Randee A. Keller, sister, Kayla A. Keller-Knutson (Conner) and children; brother, Harley M. Keller; and numerous other family members including her father, Kenneth F. Keller; grandparents, Laura Greggs and Jeanette and Will Keller; and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Harley W. Sellers who died in 2018.
Skye, we are grateful for the love you brought into this world. May you soar limitless in love and light. You are loved beyond measure.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Placel NW in Rochester, Due to COVID-19, masks will be required and social distancing observed.
