Yvonne K. (Denny) Wilkerson, 64, of Attalla, Alabama passed away on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.
Yvonne Kay Denny was born on Oct. 19, 1956 in Austin to Philip and
Marilyn (Weber) Denny. She grew up in Stewartville and graduated
from Stewartville High School in 1975. She served in the United State Army. Yvonne was a 30 year resident of Attalla, where she worked at the Attalla Truck Stop for many years. She spent many years bowling in leagues at Paradise Lane Bowling Alley.
She is survived by her husband, John Wilkerson; daughters, Kim Wilkerson and Jennifer Wilkerson; grandsons, Braddley Wilkerson and Trey (Chelsea) Norwood; and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her father, Philip Denny; brother, Jeff (Sue) Denny and Steven (Carol) Denny of Stewartville; sisters Diane Postier of Rochester and Susan (Bill) Gehrman of Longville; nephews, John Denny, Albert Denny, Seth Denny and Tyler Denny; and niece Barb Sparrow.
he was preceded in death by her mother Marilyn, grandparents
Charles and Stella Weber and Edwin and Alberta Denny, and brother-in-law Kirk Postier.
